Let us place it
We have been writing up hotels here for years — 27 stays across 15 countries, all of them ours. We now book them too. Same rate you would pay yourself, with the things an advisor can add on top, and someone who has slept in the room choosing which one.
Why
It costs you nothing, and you get more
There is no fee. The hotel pays us a commission out of the rate you would have paid anyway, and only after you have stayed. We do not charge for planning and we do not mark the rate up. If you see the same room on the same terms for less somewhere public, send it to us — sometimes it is a different rate with different rules, and if it genuinely is cheaper we will tell you so.
Most of these properties add something. Booked through our agency partner, a stay usually comes with an upgrade at check-in when one is free, breakfast for two each morning, a credit to spend at the hotel, and early arrival or a late departure where the day allows. It varies by property, and by season — so we tell you exactly what a given hotel is offering before you choose it, not after.
You see the whole price. Every option we send is priced all in: what is charged when it books, what the hotel collects when you arrive, and what canceling actually costs on which date. No “from” rates, no resort fee waiting at the desk.
We have been there. The globe on the home page is not research — it is where we have slept. That is also why there are trips we turn down: if we do not know somewhere and cannot get a straight answer about it, we would rather say so than read you a brochure.
Someone writes to the hotel before you arrive. Who is coming, what the occasion is, that you always want a bath and never want the room by the elevator. This is the part that quietly does the most work, and it is the part a booking site cannot do at all.

You tell us about the trip
The form below, or a reply to an email. It does not have to be decided — “somewhere warm in February, about a week, we hate resorts” is plenty to start on.

We put together a short list
Usually three. Each one priced all in, with the cancellation terms in plain words and a line on why we think it suits this particular trip. If nothing fits your budget honestly, we say that instead of sending three near-misses.

You choose, on a private link
The shortlist lives at a link only you have. Choosing one costs nothing, takes no card details, and commits you to nothing — it tells us which to go and get.
- 04
We place the reservation
Through our agency partner, so the amenities attach to it. You get the confirmation code, the cancellation deadline, and exactly what you owe and when. In almost every case you pay the hotel directly, at the front desk.
- 05
We speak to the hotel before you go
A note to the property with your arrival details and anything worth their knowing. Then we are at the other end of an email for the rest of it — a late flight, a changed plan, a table you cannot get.
